I will never understand how people can like that film. For a start it's a comedy and it has this thing in it:
That's two good reasons to hate it without even watching it.

You're the first person I've seen say that 28 days and 28 weeks later is crap. Altough I don't agree in the slightest, taste is subjective.

Ha Simon Pegg is awesome! I have yet to see a bad movie with him in it! He is like the new Jim Carrey
who cares what they look like as long as the comedy is good

I've got a thing for Simon Pegg... don't ask why, for the love of, don't ask why but there's something adorable about him. Like ejaculine said love for horror is subjective and I love this film. Queen on the jukebox in the pub just cemented that love.

I love Shaun of the Dead and also Hot Fuzz by the way -- "the Greater Good.. The Greater Good "
Re: British Horror Films
I just watched HF the other day! i love how it makes you think one person is the killer then it flips it around, ive never seen that done so well before.
Re: British Horror Films
Ah Hot Fuzz, a definite pleasure of mine "By the power of greyskull!"
and I am also in love with Run Fatboy Run! Always gets me laughing!
Re: British Horror Films
Nick frost is great too i hope they team up again!
Re: British Horror Films
Simon Pegg is brilliant and you can't say otherwise. Wish that he would remain in Britain though and make more movies suited to his style. Other favourite Brit movies are Razor Blade Smile, Lair of the White Worm, Serverance, all Hammer, and that includes The Reptile. And am eagerly awaiting Doghouse.
Re: British Horror Films
oh heck yes pR1m, they really need to. Probably one of my current favourite duo's in the film industry. Incidently did you know Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright (Director of Shaun of the Dead & Hot Fuzz) both had a very small cameo in Land of the Dead? The scene with the zombies chained up and people having photo's taken with them, the zombies were them! Apparently it was Romero who insisted they have a part because he loved Shaun of the Dead so much. Yes, I know more than I ought to

As a Brit, I shall now be the second to say both 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later are bloody crap then.... because they are! Both were just rip-offs of the BBC "Survivors" series from the 70s which, incidentally, has been remade. And it also is bloody crap.

My favorite horror film is Hellraiser... so that would obviously make it my favorite British horror film My Least Favourite would be Sanitarium (2001) Overrated: 28 Days Later Underrated: Evil Aliens & The Vampire Lovers

28 days/ weeks later is a heap of crap,, people say it is a zombie film,, zombies are the living dead,, people who got infected with the rage virus never died,, (ex, the guys who got bitten by the chimps) so please STOP saying 28 days/weeks later is a zombie film,, ITS NOT about time some-one else said hellraiser,, thats the best british horror film of all time. atleast some-one else has got taste
