christopher goldens Dark Congress (BTVS). Its a must read for Buffy fans. It basically sums up what the scooby gang is up to after the very last episode.

Re: What book do you re-read?

Literally anything by Richard Laymon but esp partial to novels: The Beast House Chronicles, Funland, The Stake, Night in the Lonesome October, No Sanctuary, and a collection of short stories by him in a book called: Out are the Lights: And Other Tales.

Dean Koontz novels as well: Mr. Murder, Odd Thomas, By the Light of the Moon and The Funhouse

When I am in a certain mood and given my utter adoration for Buffy I read these books and literally can remember the book from cover to end. I've think I've read them all at least 50 times lol

Re: What book do you re-read?

I re-read FAT CITY by Leonard Gardner.

Anyone have a preference for first person (I walked in the valley of...) or third person (He walked in the valley...)?

Does it matter?

Re: What book do you re-read?

I have always preferred 3rd person omniscient or limited.

Re: What book do you re-read?

I read The Catcher In The Rye quite a few times but I haven't done that in years.  The only other thing I can think of just now is Something Wicked This Way Comes.

I admit I may be slighty 'obsessed' with Buffy, aside from the books I have jewellery, bags, all the DVDs, collectible figures, posters, guide books, printed off books of buffy quotes and scripts, my own created Buffy books, novels, etc lol

What I now want is some Buffy clothing lol and the cross she wore in the show. It only cost £19.99, so really hoping I can get it soon. But yep Buffy gal here smile

'Battlefield Earth'
'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series

I re-read my clive barker novels on a regular basis... I love 'The Thief of Always' , 'The Lord of Illusions', and 'Cabal'. His new novel is very good as well.

Oh I have quite a few favourites smile some that come to mind are Hush, Once More With Feeling, Becoming Part 1 & 2, The Pack, The Puppet Show, Innocence, Passion, Killed By Death, The Wish, Helpless, Wild at Heart,

The Body (which I think is one of the strongest, harder episodes to endure)

The Gift <absolutely love that ep!, Tabula Rasa, Doublemeat Palace, Normal Again, Grave and Chosen. Although I think I am one of the few Buffy fans who never really liked season 7 for me it was one season too far.

But I am a sap when it comes to the softer episodes lol. But yeah some of my favourites big_smile

I totally agree, i'm not a huge fan of season 7 and really hate Spuffy.

Re: What book do you re-read?

I re-read a few favorite anthology books, I'm a sucker for short stories, and if there's a good one, it's nice to find it again.  My favorite anthology at the moment is called "Horrors! 365 Scary Stories", but there's no way I could do only one a day.  Too many books, so much freakin' time.
