This happens more often then I'd like.  Superior region 2 releases.  Very good to be them.  I AM envious.  yikes

Yeah, they may have mushy, grey food ( tongue)  but they get all the coolest box sets.  sad

I already have hte wicked nice DVD set...so sadly I will not be getting this even though I have a blue ray player now...bummer...looking forward to the release of Trick r Treat!

1080p?  I figured the quality wouldn't be better than DVD since the film was shot on older film stock.  Guess I need to read more on that kind of thing.

for those wandering. I checked with arrow films  to check about the bluray details. and they said it is the same transfer as the anchor bay US release
