I was honoured to be part of the selection process and Jackson was on my list.  That book really scared me.

I've neevr actually read this, but the painting The Picture of Dorian Grey by Ivan Albright is my all time favorite and is at the Art Institute here in Chicago.  I also want to see the film Dorian Grey that came out in the UK this year.

To be honest, there's a few on the list I haven't read yet.  I don't now much of anything about The Picture of Dorian Grey except that  people are mad for the film (both of them).  I must get back to Chicago sometime soon! I love the city.

I just finished and highly recommend Hater by David Moody.  Very interesting book with some pretty intense violence.  I hope the movie keeps the visceral edge that the book had.  I have faith in JA Bayona and del Toro to make a good film from it.

Only thing that sucks is Hater is book 1 of a trilogy and bood 2, Dog Blood, wont even be out until summer of 2010.  Boo to that!
