The Deer Hunter, that end scene, I knew it was going to happen but I was turning from the screen hoping it wouldn't be. One hell of a movie!

Requiem for a Dream, what they had to do to Leto's arm because of how fucked up it looked
Cape Fear both versions but mostly the original
Strangers on a Train, the villain i thought was brilliantly creepy in some scenes in there

I don't get scared by horror movies let alone non-horror movies. I wish horror movies could still scare like they did when I was about 5 or 6 but I am way too much of a gorehound now and way past desensitized.

Yeah mdc I know what ya mean.... nothing scares me except for insane drivers that get in my way.
Other than that movies sure dont but it would be a nice change if a movie came out thjat actually scared me... Hellraiser almost did but it was more of a mind trip and I cant get that trip out of my mind... me like and thats why I want more of it and a remake is the only wasy its gonna happen, i know off topic so shoot me.

Spiral (Joel Moore is just creepy the whole movie)
American History X (the teeth on the curb scene)
Amistad (just made me real angry)
Casino (baseball bat to the head)
Jan Å vankmajer's Alice
Rambo (so many wonderful and disturbing scenes)
About Schmidt (Kathy Bates in a hot tub)
Silence of the Lambs (it puts the lotion on it's skin)
Hannibal (eating his own brain)
Labyrinth (David Bowie looks just really creepy)
Neverending Story (the giant flying dog use to really scare me when I was young, still does)
That's pretty much the ones I can remember right now.

Could of just as well been a scene in a horror film: when I was a kid and watched the beginning to Star Track 2 wrath of Khan and saw them take the creatures out of the fish tank and put them in those guys helmets….still gives me the willies.

Used to watch that movie all the time when I was 6 or 7. Loved it. And by scary, you mean as in the animations or the insects?

As a child I found "E.T" and "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" very disturbing for reasons I perhaps should not get into. The Velveteen Rabbit still gets under my skin too. It actually scares me in a way that a child could be so delusional he thinks his toy is real. We need to watch out for those kids. They end up like Joseph Smith and start silly cults like "The Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints" or go on to gather large weapon caches in Waco, Texas.
