Topic: Survival of the dead.

Zombie maestro George A. Romero has finally gotten US distribution set for his latest 'Dead' effort, as Magnet Releasing will distribute the pic under their video-on-demand service a month before the film's limited theatrical run. No set date has been revealed, but they hope to have it out by the Spring of next year.

"George A. Romero is an undisputed cinematic legend, and we’re honored to be bringing another installment of this incredible series of films to horror fans," said Magnolia President Eamonn Bowles. "SURVIVAL is smart, extremely fun and a worthy addition to the ‘Of the Dead’ franchise."

I'll be buying this, but I don't know man, it looks a little weak to me. I loved Land of the Dead, but I don't think I've watched Diary of The Dead since I bought it. But from what I hear the first screening of this got a standing ovation, so maybe it's pretty damn good. Like I said, regardless, I'll be buying it. How can you NOT?

I bought Survival of the Dead a few weeks ago. Although it has some faults, I really enjoyed it! smile I liked it better then Diary of the Dead (which I thought was just OK).

Yeah I liked it better than Diary.  It was not one of his better movies, but on the whole it was enjoyable, certainly not as horrible as some make it out to be.

Survival was much improved over "Diary" imo but still not up to par for a Romero zombie flick imo.
