I didnt particularly like Hideo's Ringu (but I did like his take for The Ring).  Of the films of his I've seen, I'm not a fan of many... probably Dark Water would be the only other film he's directed that I've actually enjoyed. 

I'm a fan of "Death Note" so I was excited about seeing "L, Changed the World", and it was just "ok" - So Hideo's been more "swing and a miss" with me, that a "hit."
