Topic: Streets of Fire(80's film)

This was a cool ass film from the early 80's called Streets of Fire. It starred Michael Pare(from Eddie and the Crusiers), Diane Lane, Rick Moranis, Willem Dafoe, and a young Bill Paxton.

This was kinda a gangster film where a famous hometown girl singer is kidnapped by a bunch of bikers and a her ex-boyfriend who was an army vet comes back to town to rescue her.

Cool film with a great soundtrack.

Anyone else ever seen this flick?

Seen it, own it on three different formats and own the soundtrack.  Streets of Fire is the only film I've ever seen that sounds EXACTLY like something I'd write.

And if this isn't one of the coolest posters ever?

Yeah, I love that poster and wish I had it. I still have the soundtrack to it on cassette.

Also you can find videos of the 2 main cool songs in it on Youtube.

Disagree with all of you so far.  I couldn't make it past the halfway mark.
