I've stated this before but I dont read much horror.  They just dont do it for me, so I stick with Sci-fi/fantasy and strange fiction.  Hopefully I'll get some time to put the finishing touches on the current book I'm on, then I have three books in waiting:  Angel Dust Apocalypse by Jeremy Robert Johnson  , Butcher Bird: A Novel of the Dominion by Richard Kadrey, and Leviathan by Scott Westerfield

Anyone looking to be a little grossed out should check out The Demonata Series by Darrin Shan.  I'm on book 4 and the detail he goes into describing these demons is wonderful.  Lord Loss is one of my favs as well as Slawter.
