bottom line, (as a Viewer) I am seeing more and more zombie films come out all the time. Cool.

The thing is, execution, just like you said.

Zombie films are a dime a fucking dozen these days. I'm 45 pages into a script right now...

It looks decent, but i agree. At this time its hard to keep things fresh and exciting. Zombie movies are usually pretty formumatic(is that a word?), they need to something to set them apart to get some recognition.

Just like Zombieland did. It brought some new things to the subject and that's why it is said to be such a good zombie movie.
