Topic: I Spit on Your Grave Remake

I just heard about this movie coming out called i spit on your grave and it looked pretty cool. Then i found out that there is an orginal one, but when i went to rent it i found out it was banned. Is the movie that bad that it got banned?

I think its because there was like a half an hour seen of a girl getting raped or some shit like that

It depends on ur perspective, at the time it was released it was pretty bad, there IS about a half hour of rape, like 10 separate rapes, but it being remade is a bad idea b/c they cannot bring back that intensity to theaters or the MPAA b/c they will get fucked. Its not that bad, unless you can't stand rape, but yes it was also banned in some countries. and hard to find on DVD in stores, but I managed to hmm

Some parts of the original are pretty hard to watch. I didn't have any problems finding a copy. I've seen copies at F.Y.E. and on tons of websites.
