The movie made a ton of money for its budget.  I think a sequel is pretty much a lock.

At this point the Friday remake has made nearly as much box office ($91 million) as the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot ($100 million) while costing half as much ($19 million for Friday, $35 million for Nightmare).

If Nightmare is getting a sequel, you can bet Friday will.

Loved the remake i've got it on Blu-ray they need to make a sequel,and definately need Mears back as Jason.
