i love the first starship troopers, its great sci fi commedy fun, but does anyone know if the second one was any good? iv never watched it and i dont want to go buy a piece of crap movie.

The first one was damn good. Second one...saw it once just after it came out....crappers.
The writer of the first film Ed Numeier is apparently scripting and will shoot a 3rd Starship Troopers film and Caspier Van Dien might return as Rico...but as an older and grizzled vetran.

Loved the first film. I have it on VHS, but as reported above the 2nd one isn't even worth commenting on.
