Re: Tarantino's use of Black and White

yeah, somebody around here said they grabbed that.  Sounds awesome.

Re: Tarantino's use of Black and White

I hate censored films.. I can't stand owning or watching them... I once accidentally bought the censored 'Thriller: They Call Her One Eye' instead of 'Thriller: A Cruel Picture'... what a mistake.. and i have a feeling my copy of Driller Killer is censored..

I hear an uncut version of Machete will be released that is more violent than the version played in cinemas...

I'd buy that.  I enjoyed the crap out of Machete.

Re: Tarantino's use of Black and White

The B&W in Kill Bill is definitely annoying. I've haven't seen the Jap version, but I hear it's much better. Hopefully someday a uncut version will be released in the US.

Re: Tarantino's use of Black and White

It's funny.  In Japan they don't bat an eye at gore in films.

Yet they digitally blur the genitals in hardcore porn.  What the french, toast?

Re: Tarantino's use of Black and White

Just watched the Japanese cut of 'kill Bill' and i gotta say it's much better.. You can actually see what's going on in the Crazy 88 scene now...

Re: Tarantino's use of Black and White

I personally found the switch to B&W in Kill Bill disconcerting.  I know why it happened, but did he run a color version past the MPAA first?  Just wondering, never heard a definitive answer to that one.
