My son was very excited to tell me all about the new download for his Black Ops-  It includes Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Robert England, Geoge Romero, Machete, and Michael Rooker.

This looks really cool.  When I was playing that part in Black Ops at the ship, I thought it looked kinda freaky, and thought it woulda been cool if something scary happened, though it wouldn't of fit with the game.

I have XBox live, but don't understand these kinda things.  Is this a download?  Do you have to pay for it?

I've never been this excited for a video game DLC.  I already paid for it, the code will be delivered Tuesday morning to my email!!!!!

Just got around to watching the video.  Looks very cool.  I hope someone does a "Let's Play" video(s) of it at some point, seeing as I won't be playing it.

I don't understand how that works.  How do you get points?  Been on-line for well over a year and still don't get it.  I pretty much watch NetFlix and listen to Last FM or whatever it is.  That and play a few games, but I don't do that on line.  I want this Black Ops Zombie thing, but I won't be able to get it.  Now I'm sad.  sad

I don't have an Xbox, but I think you put real money into your Microsoft Xbox account, and then you can 'buy' these download things.  Or I can be completely wrong.  Fuck if I know, I like Pong.

You 'buy' points with your credit card.
You buy them in bunches, the bigger the bunch the more they cost.

These points are then 'banked' and you spend them on the downloads.
You simply purchase the download, it downloads it to your machine/account and when you next play the game it loads the download into it for you to play.

I'm going to be that one sour apple, haha. I disliked Black Ops a lot. It was weak as far as game play goes, especially compared to Modern Warfare 2. Now they are taking the Red Dead Redemption approach and doing the most worn out (surprisingly not unwelcome), tacky thing by just making a zombie mode. Everything will have a zombie mode and it's driving me insane. Am I the only one that thinks the zombie shit is got old years ago?

Oh man, it comes out tomorrow.  I'm literally more excited for this than I have been in a while.  Maybe it's because I'm off all this week and can dedicate it to not only new multiplayer maps, but also that kick ass Call of the Dead.  Tomorrow is going to certainly be a good day for horror and video games!!!!!

I've been playing it the past two days and it's so awesome.  George Romero constantly chasing you and then everyone else just looks awesome.  I really wish you could get Machetes in it like in the preview

Wait wait wait -- I just watched the vid DG linked to and want to see if I'm understanding this correctly.  So the game is about George Romero, Danny Trejo, Michael Rooker, Sara Michelle Gellar and Robert Englund making a zombie movie in which real zombies actually show up?  Is this for real?  Because if so, I'm really hating that my xBox crashed on me a couple months ago.

Do you get to play as one of them?  Info, people, I need info.  Don't make me wikipedia this damn thing, I want to hear it from someone I trust!

Lon - I don't know either.  Think you can play as one of the characters.

Machete - Was not a huge fan of Black Ops.  Thought it was cool, great graphics, but otherwise ok.  Have to disagree with you bout the Zombie games though.  IMHO you can not have too many Zombie games / modes.  Not old to me at all.
