Topic: The Hobbit pt.1

I was reading some information on pt.1 of the upcoming hobbit movie and it sounds already like they are bound and determined to screw it up.
They are adding characters that were never in the book such as Frodo,Galadriel ,Lindir,etc.
So unfortunately I'm not getting my hopes up to high.

I'm okay with the changes. It seems like they are trying to make a stronger connection to the first three films for those who haven't read the books. I imagine there are quite a few fans of the films that aren't necessarily fans of the books who might need have some carry-over characters as an entrance to the prequel story. I'll trust Peter Jackson to do a good job. He clearly loves the material.

Y'know, seriously, three Hobbit movies are plenty enough for me.  Jackson scored a major achievement with the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I don't see a need or purpose for another Hobbit movie, aside from milking the audience's money teet dry.
