I think "shocking" is a perfectly acceptable tag or label - which Imprint could definitely be relegated to as well as other extreme outings. I would of course also consider it a psychological horror, as well.
Evil Dead, Demons, etc. should have a "Demon" category. Evil Dead's Deadites don't act like zombies at all, and the Demon movies have a supernatural aspect.
You should put as many genres as you think are necessary I think, because so many movies mix ideas from different sub-genres, it really sounds like you are doing great with all the ideas you have mentioned already though.
I agree with Meh that Torture is better than torture porn, that one has negative connotations.
asian horror perhaps but 'cheesy' is to subjective. what one person finds cheesy another will not. Same can be said for 'classic horror' one persons classic is another persons nightmare.
Az I got your email and will add you to Gtalk spent my weekend in the garden not busting my ass for a change
We definitely want to make sure we dont go INSANE on genres but we also dont want to miss any .. namely having a bunch of great flicks missing subgenres. Not sure how we do that but Az and others helping DG and I will help alot.
