Topic: What Is the Best Horror Novel You've Read In the Last Year?

For me it is John Saul's Suffer The Children.  If I remember correctly,  I finished it in less than a day too as it was so interesting.  It is one of those type of books that you think about for days after reading it.

In the Dark by Richard Laymon. Very atmospheric and mysterious, and of course like all of Laymon's books it's violent and erotic.
