Really do we expect anything less from Michael Bay? Recycling SFX scenes in his new movie from an older, crappier film?!?! Yikes.

The Island was a rip off of Parts: The Clonus Horror.

The makers of Parts did sue the makers of The Island and they reached a settlement. You can read briefly about it on Parts' wiki page.

I went and saw TF3 couple days ago. Thought it was all right for a movie about giant robots that change into cars and fight eachother. I mean, ya know? People seem to be gettin pissy about Bay doin' that, but eh, I feel it's kind of like whatever. Ya seen one car flipping throught traffic, ya seen em all.
