I'm kind of interested in this. Trailers look decent enough. I've never seen the original, so perhaps if I like this one, I'll check out the first.

I'm kind of disappointed about this. The original Fright Night is one of my favorite films, and I doubt they'll be able to capture the charm and atmosphere of the original. I'll wait for the dvd before giving it a view.

I have no interest whatsoever in this.  I'm perfectly happy with the original, and this one looks like just one more uninspired big budget remake in an endless line of others.

While I agree with the "Stop remaking perfection" of the old films, I've been surprised by some of the remakes.

Friday the 13th for instance. While it wasn't spectacular, at least it expanded the franchise by being original.

I'm hoping this will do something similar but I know it won't.

The original was just about perfect.
