Well, maybe it caught me by surprise. I was not really expecting much, and all of a sudden... amazing shocking movie!

It was awesome.  As far as home invasion films go, it puts The Strangers to shame.  Brutal f**king ending!

I thought it was pretty good, brutal and realistic. As far as home invasion movies  though, The Strangers creeped me out a bit more and had better atmosphere imo. And Funny Games was far more brutal I think. I give Kidnapped 7/10

IMHO...

Kidnapped tops Funny Games and The Strangers.  Thought Kidnapped was great, and very original.

Funny Games was good.

Hated The Strangers when I first saw it, but have come to appreciate it more.  For me it is the epitome of - Stupid things people do in horror movies.  Give me a shotgun against unarmed killers...I like my odds.

The ending really ruined the entire movie for me. Good,fun,frieghtening; all up until the finish.
