I just saw Black Swan.. It was either pretty average or pretty bad, i can't decide... I don't understand the hype.. Don't really like Natalie Portman either... Requiem For a Dream and Pi were much better...

I didn't like Portman till her I saw in Black Swan - I thought she gave an impressive performance.
But I have a man-crush on Cassell's acting, too, which might have helped. LOL

I loved the dark tale.. I think it was an excellent portrayal of a spiral into madness . Portman played the uptight , socially and emotionally stunted perfectionist to a tee

I don't think Black Swan was necessarily a bad movie, i just found it all a bit silly... It was filmed ok but nothing extraordinary. I found the Horror bits a bit hokey too...
Compared to the technique and style of Requiem, it was all a bit of a bore... But that's just my opinion..
I really like that Luc Besson film with Natalie Portman.. "Leon The Professional"...

I love this movie so much. I thought it was perfection, beautifully put together and so well paced. I liked it because it was a little more subtle then Requiem which just shouts in every scene 'Look isn't this messed up and sad!!!".
