IMHO...I think X gets so much hate because it was after 8, but especially 9.  9 really was the turning point where the series no longer attempted to be what it was.

Think there is also hate for a series that run out of ideas and then turn to pace.  As I've written before, I think every movie should take place in space.  Why have anything be here anyway?

Hmmmmm....the recent Die Hard Thread, reminded me of this one, so I spent time searching for it.  This Thread, this little gem, has almost everything.  One of my favorites!
