Taking my girl to see the sugary-sweet yet deliciously hot Katy Perry at the end of the month, in Manchester  We went in March and she is honestly jaw-droppingly hot in person. Not really my sort of music but I'm not gonna argue with it!

Went with the fam to something called Smile Fest today in Hazard. There were a couple live bands; one local, called Midlife Crisis, and another called Emma King and the Heart Sets which was, simply put, amazing. They're a British band who came to the US to pursue a career in country music, and while I'm not normally big on country, they were solid, solid, solid, and the lead singer had a tremendous voice. Saw the Menzingers, the Flatliners, Broadway Calls, and the Arteries the other night. Going to see Social Distortion and the Foo Fighters in a week or so. Me at an arena show, that'll be a first.

I think Dave's touring with Pat Smear again, no? That'd be kind of cool.
I haven't been to an arena show in nearly a decade, now that I think about it.

Yeah, he played on the new album from what I heard. I've somehow never seen Social Distortion yet so I can finally scratch them off my list of bands I need to see before I die. Now can the Descendents come to the ATL please?

right there with ya buddy, caught Social D in the late 90s but never Milo and the boys, Did catch ALL with Chad Price once, but that's as close as it ever got LOL

That's awesome, Chad Price is my favorite singer of the 18 different singers ALL had. LOL I've read they've been doing one off shows too along with the Descendents. How awesome would that be to see them both at the same night.

You should Arena shows are awesome and yeah Pat Smear played on the new album and is officially back as a member of Foo Fighters although he has been touring with them for about 5 years now

Went last night to see the delectable Katy Perry. My GOD is she hot! She's really good live too, got a great voice and her banter is awesome
