Topic: vigilante project

A coworker reached out to me today because he had heard I like to write. Little did I know so does he and he has this project which he is trying to turn into a comic and possibly a film.

Not bad.  Kind of Batman Begins meets Kick-Ass.

The back-story is a bit stock but it has potential.  With some tweaking he might really have something there.

I love vigilante justice stories,  films etc. As a kid The Punisher was my favorite comic. I never tire of these types of movies as long as they can keep it fresh in some aspect. The trailer looks okay, with some behind it I think it could be good.

I agree with both of you. I also want to add I like the unassuming looking young man they got. It adds that average Joe but with believable ass kicking potential. I like that in these types of stories.

It's my friends dream. he's working really hard on it but he is like a lot of us: has the kids and the day job, so its hard. I really hope he pulls it off.

Not bad at all. Well shot considering the budget, and the acting is pretty damn good too. I was thinking the trailer would have showed his sister tragic death, leading up to Alvin becoming a vigilante.

Thanks UD and Ace. I was talking to my friend this morning he appreciates all the feedback. He’s working hard to get this off the ground. I think it’s great. He’s also been very encouraging of my writing, it’s like we have an artistic support group here at work.
