Need Help with the Name of a 90s Rock Song

Alright, folks.  Normally my musical brain is as encyclopedic as my movie brain, but I'm stumped.  I've even posted this question on Yahoo Answers and it's yet to be answered correctly.

There was this song, came out around '95 or '96.  I cannot for the life of me remember either the name of the band or name of the song, and the only lyrics I remember are "Stay with me, Diana."  The only other details I can give are that it was medium/slow tempo and, like most 90s alternative songs, had heavy distortion guitar.

I've googled this dozens of times and all I get are hits about the Paul Anka song Diana, and a cover of it by The Misfits, but it's obviously neither of those.  I have quite literally been trying to remember this song for over a decade, so if anyone can help me out, I'd much appreciate it.
