You're right it would be a great movie for a movie night. Maybe we should think of some car themed movies to add like Christine.
I just watched Two Lane Black Top and Hollywood Knights recently (not horror but great car movies!)

The Car has always been a camp fave of mine - I'll watch it over Christine any day in fact.
(and Two Lane Blacktop and Vanishing Point are my two all time favorite car flicks)
