HORRORFEST 1
Dark Ride -not a favorite although not as bad as some of the others
Penny Dreadful-Own this one though low on my like list
Reincarnation-Own this one really like it one of my faves I love japanese horror
The Abandoned-Hated this one didnt really understand it and watched it twice
Gravedancers-Own this one its one of my favorites from this year all but the ending though I can over look that for the rest of the movie
The Hamiltons-Own this on really good love the story line
Unrest-own this one its my number one pick from this year its my favorite
Wicked Little Things-own it pretty good kinda sad

HORRORFEST 2
Borderland-owned it at one point but got bored with it
Crazy Eights-own it its my all time favorite one
Lake Dead-owned it but hated it not into incest
Mulberry Street- gross rat people need i say more? lol
Nightmare Man-terrible but hilarious! love it for the sillyness (own this one too)
THE DEATHS OF IAN STONE-Own it only like it cause the guy is hot
Tooth and Nail-watched it once not sure how i feel about it
Unearthed-watched it once tried to watch it again and got bored

HORRORFEST 3
Autopsy-my ave from this year want to own it
Butterfly Effect 3-own it one of my faves
Dying Breed-owned it grossed me out only thing I liked was the thing about the pie man
From Within-own it one of my faves from this year
Perkins 14-watched it once need to watch it again
Slaughter-own it the ending broke my heart
The Broken-made no effing sense maybe if you watch it you could explane it to me?
Voices-own it it was okay not the best not the worst

HorrorFest 4

DREAD-own it my fave from this year
HIDDEN-only one I havent seen
Kill Theory-own it great movie
LAKE MUNGO  - didnt like the mocumentary thing
THE FINAL-owned it broke my heart had to get rid of it
THE GRAVES-own it really like this one
The Reeds - watched it once didnt really understand it
Zombies of Mass Destruction - made me giggle but I wouldnt watch it again

Husk - didnt get this one confused me
I havent seen the rest

I dont think that last one was an After Dark flick

I made the mistake of falling for the - These movies are so scary they couldn't be released till now - thing in 2006.  Actually saw Unrest in the Theaters.  Wasn't bad, just not scary.  To be fair, it didn't try to be scary.  Since then I've seen a few, but don't remember all of them, and none of them stick out as memorable for me. 

I didn't realize Lake Mungo was part of this whole scene, and I did like that one.  Wasn't there one about an amusement house, with fake ghosts come real?  If so, I enjoyed that one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking these movies, and some of em were entertaining...just was disappointed they weren't scary at all, and they were advertised as being such...yes, I know a lot of movies do that, but these didn't even try.

A lot of these are - It is Saturday, already got my work out in, the house is clean and now I am lazy...oh wait Grave Dancers is on TV  - type movies for me.

My favorite films to die for:

Horrorfest 1 = Borderland was great

Horrorfest 2 = Dying Breed and Perkins' 14 (with Michale Graves; ex-lead for the Misfits)

Horrorfest 3 = Kill Theory and The Graves (with Bill Moseley)

AFTERDARK ORIGINALS = I loved HUSK (4 out of 5 hairy eyeballs)

Not seen any! Some are available on the anytime on sky at the moment so might have to give a few a watch just to take away this shame! I have often gone to buy one or two of them because they sell them cheap in my local blockbusters but never bothered.

Husk: 5/10. It was ok, failed to keep my attention sometimes. The back story was ok. There were some good jump scares I guess but I can't really say I enjoyed it.

Currently trying out The Task. So far so good. Acting's a bit pants, idea's ok. Seen something similar to it but this seems to be a bit more interesting.

I gave Dread a 10/10, Mulberry Street 8/10, The Final 7/10, The Hamiltons a 6/10, Autopsy a 4/10 and the AfterDark original Cassadaga a 9/10. If anyone liked The Hamiltons to any degree i encourage u to check out its bigger budget sequel The Thompsons. It was on Frightfest this year and i liked it a lot. Significant improvement in narrative, story etc.

Watched Voices aswell last night. Very good movie. 9/10.
