Damn, from everything I've read/heard about him, he was a quality guy.  No bad behavior, charity work, all that good stuff.  Prayers to his family.  If he had the depression problems, I hope he's in a better place now.

Makes me wonder if it's concussion related.  There was a guy (I think mentioned in the article) that shot himself in the chest so he could leave his brain to be studied afterwards.  I've been in dark spots, but that is some serious shinola.

I lived in Ocean Side, CA for almost 6 yrs and had the privilege of watching him play in high school. When he went to USC I followed his career, and then when he was drafted by the Chargers, I was elated. What a great player he was, and also very charitable. Him and D. Fouts are my two favorite players. I feel bad for his family, especially his kids! R.I.P. Junior.
