Topic: Database and searches.

Am I correct in thinking the database of archived posts is gone? Searches are bringing back nothing and I know of a lot of interesting threads that might be useful here today. I've noticed noone seems to search before posting. Maybe this is why?

edit- I just saw the notice about the major update. This may be the wrinkle.

Things have been smoothed out for the most part but some things are still confusing to me, too haha.  I can't even find how to get to the forum from the main page, I had to google search it and bookmark it
