Watched it. Wee review on the last horror movie thread. Didn't tick all my boxes and I'd seen it before but forgot! I gave it 7/10

I agree about Videoderome. Bizarre, but a must-see. The last one I saw, which I have no idea how to classify is Martha Marcy May Marlene. It was not the kind of movie that hits you over the head with horror although some horrific things occurred. It was very subtle and weird, but thought-provoking. I still couldn't really tell you whether or not I 'liked' it.

I watched Beyond the Black Rainbow, can't really tell you exactly what that movie is. Not very good though.

A few nights ago a few of us watched Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals.  Ace said it "scarred him."  HQ vowed to never watch another Emmanuelle film, ever.  Panda & I finished the movie with a big, "WTF?!?!"

I believe we ended up classifying it as "pornorror."  (porn/horror)  For a 90 minute film with tons of skin and some gore, it seemed to last for about 5 hours.

That definitely tickles my everything, grew up watching Emmanuelle flicks and PornHorror is definitely among my interests so I'll grab it for sure. Of course. lol

Currently rewatching THE IMAGINATION OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS [2009]

This definitely fits the category. one of the strangest/weirdest/craziest I've seen ever. Beautiful work by the set artists, story that goes all over the place but still makes sense, the acting is fantastic, H3LL, Depp, Plummer of course it's fantastic. lol
But the coolest surprise is Lily Cole, not only very beautiful but the way she plays Parnassus' daughter is brilliant.

Mirror Mask [2005]  fits in here too.

Definitely. Might be weird as mad but still extremely well done.
