HM's Skype Events

Sktpe has proven to be quite the popular tool when it comes to terms of communication on HM. Because of that, it's been the threshold for Movie Nights and podcasts and is frequently used by Azathoth, zer0c00l, The Creature, among other members.

HM's Movie Night

HM's Movie Nights are an ongoing event that is ran by Azathoth. They are usually voted upon on a poll and several members partake in this peculiar event.

The Hot Seat

While its popularity has dimmed down, the Hot Seat has proven to be the successful Q&A to horror fans and would feature frequent members but is no longer in the process of grilling a member. It will most likely return in the future though.

Deadliest Horror Movie Warriors

The DHMW, held by Lon showcases 2 horror icons off together and members ultimately decide who takes the cake. Members are subjected with 2 choices and duke it out until an ultimate winner is surfaced.

HM's Big Batman Story

Initially a small fan-boy Batman story that ultimately turned out to be a comic fans wet dream, created by none other than Tripod. Members were picked as a specific Batman character and the story began to unfold one after another showcasing each character and how their role is crucial to the story. The story usually ended in a cliffhanger, but unfortunately the story doesn't go on any more, but the legacy of Batman stays strong.

MEMORABLE QUOTES/SLANG

A well-known member named Wolfman1959 is known for making use of the term "Bollocks" which has been said on more than numerous occasions. It is however said in a teasingly, lighthearted manner and is always fun to say.

TOETAGS

ToeTags or TTs for short can be considered forum "currency" as members could freely exchange the desired amout of ToeTags to another occupant but they have proven to be of no usage as members don't use them anymore. However, in late Spring of 2011 members briefly exchanged them out of boredom but yet they still aren't as widely used on the forum today.

Funny Member Moments

Every once in a while, when the activity is high and the members are feeling goofy, we may go a bit overboard and one member will be mimicked by others or showcase goofy pictures, most of said wackiness/goofiness occur in the infamous "Drunk Thread". A prime example would be:

THE DRUNK THREAD

The Drunk Thread has proven to be a popular thread and is notably frequented by DemonToSome, and because of that it's been the place where he shows his true colors. However though, the thread provides great laughs and if you find yourself hammered and want a good conversation, then the thread is perfect because you never know what kind of whacky things can happen in one thread.

MisstressOfHorror

The lovely article writing, bondage fanatic, horror loving Misstress. We have conversated a few times and she is a great laugh to talk to. She knows her way around horror, like she knows how to tie bondage and is a great member.

HorrorQueen17

The devoted girlfriend and carefree advice giver to those who also have relationship problems, among other things. She has proven to be a great new member, and is a caring and outgoing member.

Lilith

Well you might not be around really anymore, but i do remember that you liked to travel and liked to party which I thought was pretty cool. You did provide some great laughs though, and you're a chill/laid back chick and your time here was not in vein.

Ms. Gorefiend

The awesome Ms Gorefiend is a loving mother of 2 who also loves horror, not only does she love horror but also posting a vast array of gifs which also sparked us to be good friends and cause us to chainpost them all day. Her wide amount of hilarious, random, and cool gifs showcase who she is because she is hilarious, random, and cool.

For Tripod's Drunk thread pictures above, here's the link to the very beginning of that whole debacle.   The full extent of it is much longer that just those few screen captures.  (For full affect, imagine it's 3AM and you're watching these 2 chuckleheads proceeding in real time.  I had the honor of watching that unfold.  )
