Topic: Pickman's Song ($100 horror flick and official selection of HPL fest)

Made this horror film for about $100 and it was an official selection for the 13th annual H. P. Lovecraft film festival. With a $100 bucks we did a lot with very little. We owned the camera already so that was not figured into the budget of the film. A solid script, good location, well made soundtrack and cheap props can go a long way to make up for a limited budget.

Thanks for the feedback folks. Thumbs up for bothering to watch a bit of independent horror. I'll drop into the other section soon and get to know some of the other creeps, freaks, n geeks. Once again appreciate you checking it out.

Now that was great! And another in good ol' Black and white!
Loved the use of music/sounds. Especially the end with the hard rock... or death metal... or whatever you call it now days. LOL - Point is it worked! And all this for 100 bucks! You guys did something quite amazing. What did you use for blood?

Anyhow. I simply had to Like and subscribe to your YT channel. How could I not? LOL

We used Karo Syrup and some food coloring for the blood! Simple as hell. Since it was black and white we just needed a dark color and we were ready to go. I believe in Psycho they used chocolate syrup in the shower scene.
