Topic: Road Horror
DUEL, Joyride, Wheels of Terror, The Car, etc. I have always loved road horror movies. I'm wondering how much you guys like them?
Could we use another road horror film?

Duel and Joyride both rocked. And what about Wolf Creek? There was more than enough car travel in the outback mixed with mayhem to clock that gem in as "Road Horror"

Yes, Wolf Creek can fall into that category easily. I liked that movie.

How about Christine and Maximum Overdrive? Or would those be considered more just 'evil car' flicks?
Being that cars are so well associated with roads, it's hard to differentiate.

I think it would be a good idea for an indie horror film, there have only been a handful of these types of films over the past several decades. So even if it's not entirely original its still kinda fresh to the genre. Plus, minimal cast and and a wide open set makes for inexpensive filmmaking.

My first time watching it was as a kid, and satan worshipers scared the hell outta me knowing that there were really some of them freaks out there.

Horror on the road, like gypsys and carnivals. Vampire Circus. Alucarda had the chilling Gypsy caravan. Grapes of Death started on a train trip to the country. secret zombies in the country vineyards.
