Topic: How does Children of The Corn get so many sequels!
I want to know why Stephen King's short story Children of The Corn in Night Shift got a film adaptation that was pretty much not really good, and got THIS MUCH of sequels:
-Children of the Corn (1984)
-Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice (1993)
-Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest (1995)
-Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering (1996)
-Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror (1998)
-Children of the Corn 666: Isaac's Return (1999)
-Children of the Corn: Revelation (2001)
-Children of the Corn (2009) (2009)
-Children of the Corn: Genesis (2011)
In the whole series contains one television remake, which is understandable. But with THAT much of sequels is actually unbelievable.
They mostly make these types of franchises when there are good ones like
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) or Friday the 13th (1980).
My thought is that some people ran out of frickin' idea so they decide to run a LOOOOONG franchise that is understandable when explain (like the danger thing isn't over yet bla bla bla).
Honestly that was my best explanation to it. How about you guys... again.
