Re: For Bruce Dickinson fans.

He sounded fantastic in concert.  Love him smile

Re: For Bruce Dickinson fans.

Love Dickinson, but dude's a total space cadet. lol

I remember several years ago there was talk of him writing and directing a horror movie.  Not sure what ever became of that.

Re: For Bruce Dickinson fans.

Did I mention I had a giant poster of him in my room when I was a teenager...Lol.  I think I enjoyed Maiden more than any other concert we have been to lately.  And yes Bruce is very ditzy... Very ADD!  But he was jumping around on stage like he was 20, so he has aged very well.

Run to the hills

Re: For Bruce Dickinson fans.

I seen Maiden in concert a few years back and it was the one year they wanted to play a "different setlist with new songs and not classic's they played a 100 times" - It god damn sucked. I don't care about these new songs, I just want to hear the old stuff. It was really disappointing.

what did they do the final frontier album ? ive seen maiden and it was easy top 10 greatest moments in my life and although i do really like the album and i bet the stage show was immense i still would have been real gutted  but i think i would have had a smile on my face

" Oh and then he fixed me with a freezing glance
And the hell fires raged in his eyes
He said do you want to know the truth son
- I'll tell you the truth
Your soul's gonna burn in the lake of FIIIIIRRRREEEEee!!!!"

To Kill The Unborn In The Womb

Re: For Bruce Dickinson fans.

^ They done just a mix of different things but mostly stuck to the 2000 albums and upwards. The setlist was:

"The Wicker Man
Ghost of the Navigator
Wrathchild
El Dorado
Dance of Death
The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg
These Colours Don't Run
Blood Brothers
Wildest Dreams
No More Lies
Brave New World
Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden
Encore:
The Number of the Beast
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Running Free"

I honestly hated this setlist.

That set does suck except for maybe Running Free and Wrathchild

Re: For Bruce Dickinson fans.

I liked Iron Maiden, Hallowed Be Thy Name and The Number of the Beast. But everything else was ass, I don't go to see Maiden to see all the crappy 2000's sh*t.

Fact: Heaven & Hell (Dio) was the support for the gig, then he cancelled because of what he was going through (his illness). And we got "Sweet Savage" instead, I still have my ticket though. I keep all my gig tickets tongue
