Topic: Rank the Halloween Franchise from your fave to least fave.

Since it's Halloween i wondered what is your faves from the franchise. I rank mine as follows:

1. Halloween '78 - original & the best.
2. Halloween 2 - more gore & i like to watch it after the original to make one big movie.
3. Halloween 3: Season of the Witch - the first Halloween movie i saw & i still love it & i don't care that there is no Michael Myers
4. Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers - Great story & just the all round feel.
5. Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers - Same as above & cool to watch as a double with part 4.
6. Halloween '07 - Great remake, gory & brutal.
7. Halloween H20: 20 Years Later - Good to see the return of Jamie but as much as i like it it does feel a little watered down.
8. Halloween 2 '09 - I know most don't like it but i for one did, violent & gory.
9. Halloween: Resurrection - Great idea with the web cam thing but think they were starting scape the barrel with this, same as H20 with watered down feel.
10. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers - worst of the lot for, just boring & slow.

I can't rank Halloween III with the rest because although I do think it is a great movie, I will always choose the ones with Michael Myers first, but I am in no way a hater and I do not think that it is the worst film of the bunch. Also that bing said, I still really enjoy Resurrection for what it is even though it is lowest on my list. I love all the Halloween films.

everything else runs a distant 3rd... the whole lot riding off into the sunset... don't much care if they every see the light of day again. The mold was perfected the first time.

I like all the originals, so just because one is lower doesn't mean I think it's bad.

I don't like the remake, it's not terrible or the worst movie ever, but I just do not like it. So:

I HATED the sequel to the remake, almost everything about it I hated and it just made me really mad. So:

That's what I always thought as well, and it didn't help that I was quite young when it came out. I thought water played a major role in the movie, heck I was expecting a tidal wave to take Michael Myers out.
