I just saw this on yahoo. I've read that T. Scott could be moody at times but I wouldn't have expected anything like this. This wasn't just some loony independent filmmaker, this guy was responsible for some major hits and I know he had at least two projects in different stages of production.
This blows my mind.

This is absolutely shocking, not that I followed Tony Scott closely at all, it is still unexpected. True Romance at one point was just about my favorite film on the planet.

R.I. P Tony Scott. i enjoyed " The Hunger", "The Last Boy Scout" and " Man On Fire"and in my opinion " True Romance" is a better film than "Pulp Fiction".

When I heard that, it blew my mind away.
He made one of my favorite films of all times the freaking fantastic Domino. That's news that saddened me the most the past few months.
He gave us classics & unforgettable movies.
Hope he'll continue doing so in the other dimension he now resides in.
Rest In Pieces sir Scott and in peace too.
