I'm a tad on the drunk side of life as I type and, whereas these two aren't exactly "unheard" of they both deserve far more acclaim and publicity:
The Poughskeepie Tapes - it's a crying shame this one was never picked up for a dvd release as it's a clearly a labour of love by an intelligent film maker who understands how to make a proper horror film. 10/10,
Absentia - my favourite indie horror of last year, it's a stunning film and is proof that you don't need millions to make a good old horror yarn. 10/10.

Psychosis,Absentia,Gnaw,Home Movie,Death Bell...
Absentia - my favourite indie horror of last year, it's a stunning film and is proof that you don't need millions to make a good old horror yarn. 10/10.

Night of The Eagle or The Black Cat are two good old flicks that that can be viewed as being overlooked.
