you don't get control of the TV until they're in bed. BUT, the trade off is more than worth it.
When my daughter was born and we came home we watched Zombie 2. I thought it was all going to be good with TV. Then as she got older, she started taking over the TV. I never thought this would happen to me...that I would be one of those parents stuck watching the same thing all the time. She points at the TV and whines, then cries, grabs the remote and hands it to me...and what does she want to watch? The newest Muppet movie...over and over and over and over. She is so cute dancing to the songs...then I have those dam songs stuck in my head all day. I don't admit that I love it. I do draw the line at some things like Packer games.
If I were to have a kid I don't know whether or not I'd like to have a son or daughter. Having a son would be cool, because we could play video games and skate, having a daughter would be cool too and I'd probably spoil her. All I know is that I'd want one.
