Topic: The most.... surrealistic, craziest and defies total madness films
I'm kinda getting into these weird surrealist films (Begotten, Eraserhead, Videodrome...) and these psychological horror films (Jacob's Ladder, Rosemary's Baby, The Shining...) and I want to find the films that are the craziest among all of these psychological and surrealist horror films there. Like terror is present every where and there is total madness and fear in the characters and such stuffs. Like WASC remake and TBWP.... So what films do you propose me towatch from my goût du film?
Re: The most.... surrealistic, craziest and defies total madness films
Here are some that come to mind. Street Trash Repulsion Carnival of Souls (Or) The 'Video Nasty' Possession (1981)
Re: The most.... surrealistic, craziest and defies total madness films
I love Repulsion, definitely check that one out.

Street Thrash... hum... I've watched it and find it gory and fun only. Not terrifying. I'm also definetely watching Repulsion after the arrogant movie trailer that still appears in the 60s.

In the Mouth of Madness is crazy and surrealist like Videodrome...also check out Brain Dead (1990... not to be with confused with the Peter Jackson movie), but if you want a real head trip of a movie check out Suspiria. A Nightmare brought to life on the screen!
Re: The most.... surrealistic, craziest and defies total madness films
Fulci films like City of The Living Dead or The Beyond are surreal

^^ Good point, but a monkey vs. Kurt Russell....
Re: The most.... surrealistic, craziest and defies total madness films
And a monkey with a knife, no less. That rates right up there with the monkey with the straight razor in Phenomena.

Probably for the best, since if watches any of them, he can blame you afterwards...

Shaitani Dracula was awesome (in a horrible horrible horrible way), but Az's review of it is a must before it is viewed.
