Anyway, I'd say a machete or a sharp blade.

Lately I've been watching a lot of S.Korean horror/thrillers. It seems a weapon of preference in those is a hammer like in I Saw The Devil and The Chaser to name of few. And why not. Its cheap, always available and damn effective.

The wood axe.

You can use the blade to cut down people, doors or just about anything else that's bothering you.  The blunt end can smash things you'd rather not cut and the handle can be used to block incoming attacks or as a tool for leverage.  It's the total package.

Same here.  The old classic; versatile, powerful and deadly.

I think for a secondary weapon would be a sugar cane machete or a pantographic knife.

Chainsaw for sure...fallback would be a Baseball Bat.

Butcher knife will be a strong one. Maybe even more effective than a hatchet or an axe.

For killing zombies a bludgeoning weapon would be alright... If you were doing a V.S. film.
