Lately I've been watching a lot of S.Korean horror/thrillers. It seems a weapon of preference in those is a hammer like in I Saw The Devil and The Chaser to name of few. And why not. Its cheap, always available and damn effective.
^ It's only in his reviews of a film in Last Horror Movie You Watched (or whatever it's called) that I noticed, it switches from white to red way too much. But yeah, I just wanted to point out because it's not needed.
You can use the blade to cut down people, doors or just about anything else that's bothering you. The blunt end can smash things you'd rather not cut and the handle can be used to block incoming attacks or as a tool for leverage. It's the total package.
