Topic: Help! What's this movie?

Hello,
Our friend saw this movie but can't remember the title. Probably made before 1970s.
Here's what he remembers. Thanks for the help.

Very pretty girl (reddish-brunette with great cheekbones), probably a British movie. The heroine is in danger because of an old curse, and the image behind an old painting is key to finding out who's really the threat.

There's a mysterious female stranger who befriends our heroine, and we're being set up to think she's the threat, but the real perp is revealed when the painting image is stripped away.

Sounds like one of the Hammer films.  Seems familiar.  If it is a Hammer film, DirtyGirl will know it.
Probably going to have to wait a few hours, though.

My best guess would be an Amicus movie called And Now The Screaming Starts...

A young bride moves into a Castle with her husband but she becomes the victim of an old curse  placed on the family. On her wedding night she's raped by a ghost with a severed hand that comes out of a painting and she becomes pregnant.  Terrorized by the ghost she goes in search for answers only to discover the horrifying truth about the family curse. 

The film stars Peter Cushing and the very beautiful Stephanie Beachum

That sounds good movie,

The other day, I saw a trailer, I total forgot the name for it
All I can remember from trailer was,

There were some people who have been cloned or something, 
the clones could be killers in the movie,

I know movie start letter R, I don't were I sure this trailer, it really bugging.
