A claw hammer. It's simple, versatile, everyone has one so it's not as easy to track me down via the murder weapon. Failing that a Stanley knife (box cutter). Small, fit in pockets, again everyone has one, can make a fantastic mess but give a nice clean cut.
What am I talking about I'm a chef I have a wallet full of perfect murder weapons!

^I've seen some massive beat downs with a Mag Light...so I guess as a last ditch, me-vs-a-horde-of-zombies-and-I'm-all-out-of-options consideration....it would do. I'd still stick with my original backup of a baseball bat instead...
