Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Black Christmas 1974 - A tad bit slow at first but once I realized how scary the killer was on the phone calls, it really got good.  The story is great as the ending and the atmosphere. Definitely the original slasher.

Intruder1989 - Such a unique Slasher film.  I really liked the characters for some reason, and the atmosphere of the late night/grocery store was just perfect.  All the sounds and shots in the grocery store were just done so well, and the kills were very interesting.

Videodrome - A little tough to understand after watching it just once, but this was pretty darn freaky.  If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Magic (1978) - Anthony Hopkins was fantastic in it, and Ann-Margret is lovely as always.  3.5/5.

The Killing Kind (1973) - Featuring a young John Savage and Cindy Willliams.  2/5.

Feed (2005) - Sick and twisted.  3/5.

Snuff (1976) - Just bad.  1/5.

American Maniacs (2010) - Written by Trent Haaga, has it moments, but overall pretty ho-hum.  2/5.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Gimme Skelter - this is one of the reasons I really dig indie horror I bought this 4 or 5 yrs ago from the director. It feels like watching scum bags during their shitcapade caught on film.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Spiral (2007)  Finally got to see this after such a long wait. I give it 20/10 ..I thought it was phenomally acted by Joel David Moore and the story kept me on the edge of my seat

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Gingerdead Man 3.  Um, ah, oh, just f' it.  Dear holy monkey hell was this a anal bombardment.  Even the big boobed lesbians couldn't save this one.  And how the hell do you mess up looping American dialogue?  I'm going to make some watch this with me some day just because I hate them.

2/10, and one of those points is just for the boobies.  Just really, why was this movie made?  Some guy had some money to throw at 18 year olds to take their tops off?  My spleen hurts, and I'm only 20 minutes into the film.  I've seen better acting in high school pornos.

The ginger guy just jerked off to watching girls wash a car.  Then he hooks up a convenient barrel of hydrochloric acid to the hose.  My left lung just abandoned me.  Oh, what the hell, after watching her friends dissolve, she sprays herself in the face with the acid.  My colon just teleported to Canada.

No way.  The chef(?) just ripped off G-Man's dick and licked it.  I no longer have testicles.  You know those R-rated sex scenes where the girl goes to bed with high heels on?  Try a girl with her shorts and roller skates on an moaning like a banshee. "Oh baby, hammer me, hammer me!"  No no no- the dean or whatever just got naked and started butt-banging the guy who's banging the girl.  Or is he banging the girl's ass?  Who cares, a pneumatic hammer just killed them all.  My left foot just implanted itself into my ass.

What, fake WWII stock footage of a prostitute who f'd FDR and jumped barrels for the USO when Japan blew up Pearl Harbor?  She won't allow her kid to skate because the mom thinks Pearl Harbor is her fault.  And the kid is a telekinetic.  My tongue just ate itself.

And I'm only 45 minutes in.  Eeh Gods, what have I done to be so forsaken?  This movie would be so much better if all the grils were topless.  Then I could just mute it.  I hate Charles Band; even having sex with 32 Playboy models wouldn't make up for this travesty, and I mean all 32 at the same time.   Ugh.

Who knew that snorting flour was more lethal than coke?  "You can roller boogie forever. Do it for the robo-boogie."  Oh, f' my head with a hammer.  "We have to crown the Boogie Queen before we tell the cops about the triple homicide. And damn, the prof was hung like a horse."  No, I didn't make that up.  Kill me now, please.

And then it turns into a Carrie weird ripoff. Where the f' did a cookie get 3 butcher knives and a Glock?   No, my mind rejects that this film was ever made.

Cabin Fever
I love this movie. When I was really getting into horror movies, this was one of the early ones. I know Eli Roth divides genre fans but I legitimately like guy and what he has to say in the commentaries. PS. PANCAKES! 10/10

2001 Maniacs
Fun gory film. None of the characters who get slaughtered by the townsfolk are likeable, but the people of Pleasant Valley filled that void. 7/10

Day 15
Santa's Slay (2005)

This as to one of the most funniest horror comedy movies, I have seen in a long time.

Dinner scene at start of the movie was pure classic, I thought it was really funny and very funny death scenes.

Who ever thought Goldberg of WWE as a Evil Santa, he was was great to watch,

The whole was such playing silly however it was good kinda of silly and really fun to watch.

The acting was decent for this movie B-movies and I also liked someone the songs that made in this movie, Some of them are very Catchy.

7 out of 10, Really Funny Horror Xmas movie.

Last  movie that i watched is Zombieland.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

28 Weeks Later - 8.5/10 I love this, and 28 days later. In both movies the atmosphere is incredibly dark and grey like it would be in a zombie apocalypse. This movie is a little depressing. The characters are played so well, This is a movie I definitely recommend if you liked 28 days.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Started to watch Jurassic Shark, but it was so bad that I had to shut it off after about 10 minutes.

Rolling Thunder (1977) - After being held as a prisoner of war in Viet Nam, Major Charles Rane returns home to a hero's welcome, recieving generous gifts from the townspeople.  A group of greedy thugs decide to steal the silver dollars given to the Major, but in the process the kill his wife and son, leaving the Major maimed but alive.  Bad decision.  Having survived years of torture in Viet Nam, Major Rane rehabilitates himself and enlists the help of his POW compatriot to extract his revenge on the thugs.  Not horror per se, but a decent little revenge thriller.  3/5.

I have no idea, but just go with the flow.  I find reality over-rated.  But I am also a fictional construct created by a delusional mind that like to stack 4 monkeys on his head for fun, so your mileage may vary.
