I don't follow up on a lot of new album, but,

Neily Young & Crazy Horse - Psychedelic Pill. My favorite of the ones that I have heard this year. Pure awesome.

A bit of a weird year.  Still waiting for Queens of the Stone age...again....Here's what I liked the most this year:

Oh, I just remembered, Bob Dylan's Tempest. If you're a Dylan fan, it's an all-around solid album with some really good blues tracks.

Deftone's Koi No Yokan, Bob Dylan's Tempest and the new Tori Amos album are my favorites
