First time here. One of the whole lot of threads that I skipped.

Well if you can't say what kind of music I like it's because you're blind or can't read. Hahaha
Yeah, I've been listening to Punk bands for more than 20 years.
My favorite of all times bands are The Distillers, Civet, Black Flag, The Accüsed [Splatter Punk band], Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Rancid and Crass to name a few. The only bands I HATE with a passion are bands like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Blink 182 and crap like that. BUT if it's a girl singing like Paramore I love. I just love girls bands so much it's nuts. Riot Girrrls RULE!!!

Also enjoy a lot of \M/etal bands. The best of all times for me is Kittie, all girls band. Then there's the trinity, Death, Celtic Frost and Venom. Following are various ones like Black Sabbath, Sepultura, Strapping Young Lad, Dimmu Borgir and a bunch of Death or Black \M/etal bands. I'm not particulary fan of Hard Rock. Def Leppard and Bon Jovi can burn in H3LL.

Pop is next. I like mostly EVERYTHING on the Pop side. Just one I could never get into was Michael Jackson. Can't stand it.
Madonna the Queen, Rihanna, Britney, Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga the insane, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Shakira and one of my favorites, the amzingly good Katie Melua to name a few.

Then there's Blues, old cabaret Jazz and of course good old classical Rock'N'Roll like Hendrix, Zeppelin, Joplin and the like.

In fact the only kinds of music I can't stand are Hip-Hop and Country but there are some exceptions like Cypress Hill and Ice-T and Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline.

So there you go. As I'm a musician myself, I can't spend more than the time of a movie without listening to some.

My taste in music is rather anomalous to the majority of horror fans. I listen to lots of dance music, old skool piano and late nineties speed garage being my favourites. A bit of Britpop here, a bit of American grunge there and always have my ear out for soulful female artists like Norah Jones, Cat Power etc etc etc etc, I love all music except for thrash metal style noise that just pollutes my eardrums.

Other than heavy metal I'm up for anything.

I enjoy the melodic metal I guess. Kamelot, Nightwish (old) Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil....
I also like Asian classical/traditional music.
And Nox Arcana which is kinda creepy, gothic instrumental.

My cd collection is mostly made up of post hardcore/metalcore/alternative rock. I listen to some metal but melodic stuff like Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian, etc.

My favorite type of music is all over the place.

I grew up listening to Rap/Hip-Hop because of my older brother, then once I hit around 14/15 one of my friends got me heavily into Metal. I have stayed interested in Metal through my teens and up till my twenties, but I've grown into other genres. I love Progressive (Prog) music. It's just amazing. I like Grunge too and obviously like classic rock as well. I love classical music too.

So you can see, I hate when people say 'metalheads' just listen to Metal and nothing else. It's false.

I'd say my favorite type of music now is Prog, but if you asked me a couple of years ago it would of been Metal.

My genres are rock/metal/punk/hardcore but I have a soft spot for 80s pop music and some rap like Bone Thugs n Harmony and Outkast.

Hard/Progressive/Psychedelic rock, Metal, Grunge, 50's Rock & Roll, blues, and a little folk.
Some of my favorite bands:
TOOL, AC/DC (been hooked since age 10 or 11), Bob Dylan, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, The Beatles, John Lennon, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Rage Against The Machine, White Zombie, Leonard Cohen, Led Zepplin, Rob Zombie, Black Sabbath, The Stooges, A Perfect Circle, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice Cooper, RUSH.

I really wish I was more into music.  You guys and gals make it sound so much un, but it's just not my thing, sad .  I can do classical (Bach, Beehtoven, Orff) and musicals (mostly Webber), and some 80s stuff, but I just can't really into music.  This monkey has no dancing pants, I guess.

^^Sweet List Creetch...I shamelessly rip off Angus Young licks all the time!....basically any time someone wants me to ''play something amazing''....I'll just pull out one of his solos.  It's fun because it sounds crazy but it's easy enough to perform whilst Drunk (which is usually when someone asks you to ''play something amazing''...)

But,

Strength: My weirdness everywhere and in everything I do, say or think.

Weakness: Over reacting and wild emotions that blast all over all the time. May be a strengh but most times it isn't like crying while you do your grocery... Heh, told ya my srength was weirdness. lol
