Despite having a runny nose and sneezing every 30 sec, I feel pretty good right now. Took my kids shopping for a present for their mom today. They picked her out a nice snuggly throw blanky. I'm sure she will like it, but most of all, the kids were happy getting her something. Which makes me feel good!

Today was a pretty good day. I had some family over and we had a small, early christmas celebration. Felt more like a Thanksgiving though...whole lotta food. Good stuff, though.

I'm in a super-good mood right now. Christmas itself was underwhelming, but I expected it to be so no big whoop. But I just spent a couple hours talking to my daughter on the phone and most of it was spent with her asking me questions about Freddy, Jason and AMC's The Walking Dead.
I love my kid!!!

I got to spend 5 or 6 hours with the munchkins today. Sydney immediately wanted to try on the outfit we got her (a pink Disney princesses hoodie with some leggings type thing), Noah started babbling "I got it, I got. I wanted this!" about this puzzle piggybank thing. We found out that sis is now expecting her 3rd kid. I got this
A Stitch Emperor and Goofy Vader figure set!
And I finished up the tree this morning, and there was still snow on the ground.
