Texas Chainsaw 3D is getting horrible reviews, and I actually had hope for this movie too.

And they tried to make Leatherface a real person with emotions for us to care about him? Come on now...

I've been hearing some negative reviews too. I'll still watch it. Probably not in theaters. Haven't gone to the movies in about 6 years tongue

To be fair he was if you analyse the original film a more complex and sympathetic character upon deeper reflection. The scene where he moves to looks out of his window and then holds his head in his hands as if he is confused and threatened by the kids entering his family's, albeit psychotic family's home is very telling. Hooper even describes him as a "big baby" in the Shocking Truth Doc. Indeed in the original and earlier films in the franchise. including Hooper's own sequel he is almost pushed around and abused by his family to at least, in part do their bidding. Indeed this is why i like his character so much. He is at least in the original a more complex monster than people often view him as.

@Punk - I actually believe that Bates Motel could turn into a great series, they have many options to tell the tales of Norman's childhood/teenage years and what developed him into what he became later on in his life.

Kind of like Psycho IV but different and better done.

Dude, you're in for a treat.  That show just gets better as it goes along.  Season 2 was fantastic and the finale of season 3 will knock you flat on your ass.  In fact, now that I think of it, I do believe I'll watch season 3 again to lead into the season premiere.

Had a very fun day going to the Boston Museum of Science with my brother. Watched a cool movie in 3D about flying dinosaurs and I also got to go in a Butterfly Exhibit and walk around all these butterflies flying around me. big_smile

I had a crimson matte Zip for years, until some dickweed in college stole it.  Hard to tell but the Phils artwork is an inlaid etching.  I asked if the had any Claudia Christian Playboy models; the girl just looked at me like I'm some kind of weirdo.
